Finca El Carmen now available form Origin Webshop!

Origin Coffee are delighted to announce a fantastic new single estate coffee from our Seasonal Collection range roasted in the heart of Cornwall.

We have been really busy sampling, roasting and cupping. As a result, we have selected El Salvador’s Finca El Carmen as a Whole Bean and Omni Grind option - available from the Origin webshop.

This coffee is further development in the process of bringing our customers some of the most exceptional coffees from around the world with a new sourcing policy giving rewards to the farmers who strive to grow them.

About Finca El Carmen…

Finca el Carmen is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain ranges in the heart of the primary biological corridor that extends through El Salvador. El Carmen is not the first coffee we have bought from this region, which is renowned for it’s capacity to produce excellent coffee.

Tasting Notes

Clean, well defined flavours dominate this cup with swirls of cinnamon and sweet grapefruit. This is a fully washed 100% bourbon Arabica, hand picked on the prize winning estate which is owned and operated by the Alfaro family.

The price we pay to the Alfaro family is based on the excellent quality and consistency of their coffee and significantly outweighs the Fairtrade price.
