Origin Coffee at ExpoWest 2010
ExpoWest exhibitions are fast approaching and once again Origin will be there to showcase a wide range of fantastic speciality coffees roasted in Cornwall.
It has been a big year for us at Origin Coffee with the launch of our new roastery in Helston creating Cornwall’s first commercially roasted coffee. ExpoWest last year witnessed the unveiling of our own locally roasted specialty ‘Seasonal Espresso’ used by our baristas competing in the South West heats of the UK Barista championships, winning all four categories, including best espresso.
Since then, we have been working further with farmers around the world to develop our seasonal collection of single origin coffees and espresso blends including some of the prestigiously awarded Cup of Excellence varieties, with some incredible results.
We are also in the process of launching our own ethical certification through working relationships, based on paying the farmers directly with an even better deal, creating strong links with the growers themselves, gaining improved traceability and continued understanding that in turn secures us the best coffees available.
Once again, we are also proud to be showcasing the Astoria +4U Espresso machine, as chosen by the Origin baristas, to brew our Specialty coffee and to allow you access to learn more about its unique functions and why they make such a difference to the quality in the cup and to your energy bill!
In addition, watch out for the SoutWest heats of the UK Barista Championships at ExpoWest in Devon!
